Refund Policy

GiftCue - Effective: May 14, 2026 - Last updated: May 14, 2026

GiftCue charges a one-time $7 fee per gift picker. We want you to feel good about every dollar. Here's exactly when and how we refund.

The short version: if the AI fails, we refund automatically. If you're unhappy with the result, contact us within 7 days and we'll either regenerate at no cost or refund the $7. No back-and-forth, no forms.

We issue an automatic refund within 24 hours when:

Email support@giftcue.app within 7 days of the picker build and tell us briefly what went wrong. We'll respond within one business day with one of two outcomes:

3. After 7 days

After 7 days, we treat the picker as delivered. We may still issue a refund in cases of clear product failure or extenuating circumstances, but it's no longer automatic. Email us and we'll work with you.

4. How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Typical timing:

You'll receive an email confirmation from Stripe when the refund is initiated. We can't accelerate the bank-side timing; that's between your card issuer and Stripe.

5. Chargebacks and disputes

Before filing a chargeback with your card issuer, please email support@giftcue.app. Most refund situations are resolved within a day, and a chargeback locks the funds for 60+ days while it's investigated. We will respond to legitimate chargebacks with full documentation: AI generation logs, email delivery logs, and our communication history with you.
